Jaci appointed as SARIMA President

Congratulations to Jaci Barnett, Director of the Innovation Office, who was appointed as the President of the Southern African Research and Innovation Management Association (SARIMA) at the annual conference Gala Dinner held in Windhoek last week.
This followed from her election as President-Elect in 2015 after a number of years of being the Vice President: Innovation and Technology Transfer, and more than 10 years on the SARIMA Committee. This was a bitter-sweet moment as Jaci is moving to the United Kingdom in two weeks, but she has committed to a handover period for SARIMA, operating virtually, after which the current President-Elect will take over as President.
SARIMA is a non-profit association of research and innovation management professionals, providing training and capacity building in the field, as well as building a network and community of practice in southern Africa.
