Qbell™ undergoing market testing at PE hospitals

Qbell™, an alternative nurse-call button suitable for use by patients with reduced or no hand/arm function is being market tested for a three-month period at Life St. George’s Hospital and the Netcare Greenacres Hospital. The Qbell™ is a simple press device that enables patients to get the attention of healthcare staff with ease, preventing the agitation and frustration caused by trying to press a small button on conventional devices. The Qbell™ will be enhanced based on the feedback from patients and healthcare staff after the three-month trial.
