Lauren Gravett created her own fashion label MooiMooii during her BTech studies in Fashion Design at the Nelson Mandela University and has since opened her own boutique in Central Port Elizabeth with the hope of making her mark in the South African fashion industry. She aims to sell sustainable, simple, versatile and affordable garments by using quality fabrics, mainly stretch for a comfortable fit. All fabrics are purchased from South African suppliers and manufactured in Port Elizabeth.

The brand caters for a wide target market and has been influenced by South African and international trends.
